SMYRNA, GA (March 15, 2007)—Innovative textile and rug designer Janelle Jarous Lampp lends color and pizzazz to home décor with vibrant new collections of decorative pillows and accent rugs

The extensive new JanelleStyle Simply Elegant ensemble of pillows showcases the designer’s signature style, incorporating a rainbow of saturated hues in a relaxed and comfortable way and in combinations that appeal to an eclectic market. “The Simply Elegant collection was designed to fit the lifestyle and decorating needs of a variety of consumers—ranging from young and relaxed to formal and elegant,” comments Jarous Lampp. “I also want to offer the market a bridge between lower contemporary and high end luxury price points.”

Lampp’s love of florals of all varieties is reflected in the diverse and color-splashed designer pillow collection. Primary fabrications include intricate embroidery chainstitch, crewel, appliqué and machine stitch, all from India. The line will grow to include specialty embroideries from around the world in modern and relevant interpretations.

Stylish fabrications in the JanelleStyle pillow introduction include silk, silk blend, cotton, linen and premium synthetics. All pillow covers are zippered and stuffed with a choice of 100% down or faux down insert. The designer pillows are also offered without the insert. Each pillow comes in one of three sizes: 12”x 18”, a 16”square or an 18” square. Depending on size and fabrication, the new decorative pillows will range in price from $40.00 to $110.00, suggested retail.

A 20 year rug industry veteran, Janelle Jarous Lampp will also debut the Simply Modern collection of braided texture accent rugs in palettes that coordinate with her new line of pillows. Fashion colors such as amethyst, chocolate, celery and robin’s egg blue in unique combinations of textured yarns create a stylish take on yesterday’s braided rugs. The rugs will be available in rounds, ovals and rectangles in a range of sizes that will retail for $60.00 to $800.00.

Jarous Lampp’s strikingly styled rug designs have been licensed to a number of leading rug manufacturers, including CMI, Chandra Rugs, Homefires and Surya Rugs. Her licensing and design firm, JanelleStyle Designs was founded in 1994.
